Recycled HDPE Plastics

Wellbore supplies reclaimed granulated HDPE plastics processed from Injection molded thread protectors.

Worn and damaged thread protectors provide a great source for recycled HDPE or High Density Polyethylene. HDPE is the sturdiest and most inflexible type of polyethylene within polyethylene applications. It’s sturdy and moderately tough character can be used for a wide range of applications. HDPE is defined by a having a density greater than or equal to .941 g/cm3. High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) represents the most common portion of the polyethylene applications. HDPE offers excellent impact resistance, light weight, low moisture absorption, and a high tensile strength.

Wellbore recycles damaged and nonconformance thread protectors in-house to ensure all pipe dope and joint compounds are properly disposed of prior to the regrind process. All regrind HDPE materials processed at Wellbore are distributed back to industry manufactures for New thread protectors, bumper rings, and other OCTG related products.
